The festival Czech Dreams is heading to Lviv once again. From 16 to 18 September 2026, the Festival of Czech-Ukrainian Partnership will take place in the city for the third time.

Czech Dreams is an international project that presents Czech culture beyond the borders of the Czech Republic while creating space for encounters, dialogue and new connections. In Lviv, this idea took on a new dimension in 2024, when Ukraine became one of the host countries of Czech Dreams for the first time. The extraordinary response to the first edition showed that this was an encounter worth developing further. What began as a one-off event has gradually grown into a tradition.

And why Lviv? Because Czech Dreams is about more than music. It is also about a long-standing partnership with real and meaningful ties. Brno and Lviv are partner cities, just as the South Moravian Region and the Lviv Region are partner regions. The festival builds on these connections and brings them into the cultural sphere – a space where artists, institutions, professionals and the public can come together, and where relationships can grow and continue long after the final concert has ended.

In 2026, Czech Dreams in Lviv: Festival of Czech-Ukrainian Partnership returns for its third edition. From 16 to 18 September, Lviv will host three days of music, art, encounters and collaboration, once again creating space for dialogue between the Czech and Ukrainian sides.

This year’s edition also follows directly on from the Summit of Local Leaders, organised by the Partnership Foundation in Lviv from 14 to 16 September 2026. The gathering of local leaders will flow naturally into the festival, carrying the same values of partnership, cooperation and mutual understanding into the world of culture.
