We’re not done dreaming this year either: the festival team is looking forward to welcoming you to the 6th edition of Czech Dreams, subtitled Echoes of the Year of Czech Music, taking place between 11 May and 4 December.

If you’re wondering why we’re not taking our traditional multi-year break, the reason is simple – the extraordinary success of last year’s edition and the overwhelming interest in the programs and artists we offered. During the Year of Czech Music, not all interested cities could be accommodated. We now want to reach those previously unheard cities, and we will also return to the most active hosts from last year. Echoes of the Year of Czech Music will thus visit 15–20 cities.

A strong guarantee of continuity is the well-established Lunalia festival in Mechelen, Flanders, where we will launch the 6th edition of Czech Dreams on 11 May.

We are in active talks with Lviv in Ukraine, we won’t miss concerts in any of our neighboring countries, and we are already looking forward to continuing our excellent cooperation with selected UNESCO Creative Cities of Music. Of course, there will also be concerts in towns and regions that have cooperation agreements with Czech partners.

We’re also enthusiastically preparing several concerts in unconventional venues with a strong genius loci.
