Czech Dreams in Lviv: Festival of Czech-Ukrainian Partnership

Czech Dreams in Lviv: Festival of Czech-Ukrainian Partnership is this year’s biggest event of the Czech Dreams project, and also a powerful voice of Czech music and art in Ukraine. We believe that the strong Czech-Ukrainian bond must not remain a one-time episode, which is why this cultural event marks another step toward building a tradition and continues what we first accomplished last year. Let’s dream together from September 18 to 21, 2025!
Program
Four festival days will bring together music, visual art, discussions, and topics from other fields as well. The festival’s music program will present a wide range of genres – from the indie pop and electronic experiments of the duo Zapaska, through the Prague guitar pop of the band Dukla, the raw songs of Brno singer-songwriter Jan Fic, the jazz trio SAKOBI, the hypnotic shoegaze of the Ukrainian band Neyodovana, to the exceptional voice of Sofia Leshyshak. Adding to the atmosphere will be the fresh energy of the band Kochlea, joint jam sessions, and busking in front of Dzyga Club.
The visual program will feature a photography exhibition by Majda Slámová, a sound installation by Petr Válek, and video art projections by Czec

Czech Dreams in Lviv are proof that culture has the power to connect and strengthen relationships. Brno – a UNESCO City of Music – and Lviv – a UNESCO City of Literature – have been partner cities since last year and proudly stand side by side. Together, we are building a cultural bridge that transcends borders, bringing not only artistic exchange but also a powerful gesture of solidarity and support in these challenging times.
